About N R HOLLAND ENGINEERING LTD
We are a small engineering workshop near Tomatin, south of Inverness, building electrical equipment to order. What started as one engineer’s bench is now a workshop that turns drawings into working panels, looms and assemblies for customers across Scotland.
Our customers are farms, distilleries, estates, small manufacturers and marine operators — anyone who needs a piece of electrical kit built properly rather than bought off a shelf. Send us a drawing or a sketch and we will price it.
How we work
- Send us your drawingsEmail a drawing, a sketch or a photo of what you need. We price it and agree a build date.
- We build it in the workshopPanels, looms and assemblies are cut, wired and tested at the bench before anything leaves.
- Delivered and commissionedWe ship it or bring it to site ourselves, connect it, test it and hand it over working.

Do you take one-off jobs?
Yes — one-offs and small batches are most of what we do. Send a drawing or even a photo and we will price it.
Can you come to site?
We travel across the Highlands for commissioning and repairs. Further afield by arrangement.
How long does a panel build take?
A straightforward panel is typically two to three weeks from approved drawings.
Do you repair existing equipment?
We refurbish and rewire older panels, looms and assemblies rather than replacing them where that makes sense.
